Position Overview:
We are seeking enthusiastic and dependable Nursery Practitioner to join our team in the Surrey area. This flexible role allows you to work across a variety of nursery settings, providing outstanding care and fostering a nurturing environment for children.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Assist in the day-to-day operations of nursery settings, ensuring a safe, engaging, and caring environment for children.
2. Facilitate children’s learning and development through creative activities, play, and structured education.
3. Collaborate with nursery staff to maintain a positive and inclusive environment.
4. Follow safeguarding procedures to ensure the safety and well-being of all children.
5. Support personal care routines, including feeding, changing, and maintaining hygiene when needed.
6. Maintain a clean and organized space to promote a healthy and safe atmosphere.
Requirements:
1. Prior experience in a nursery or early years setting is preferred but not essential.
2. A genuine love for working with children and helping them thrive.
3. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
4. Flexibility and adaptability to work in diverse settings at short notice.
5. A valid DBS certificate or willingness to undergo a DBS check.
6. Relevant childcare qualifications (e.g., Level 2 or 3 in Childcare) are beneficial but not required.
