Overview
Working closely with the chief executive officer, and reporting directly to the chief financial officer, you will lead the strategic direction for the development, maintenance, security and health and safety of all trust sites. This includes their grounds, buildings, facilities and equipment, ensuring they operate efficiently and effectively and in line with statutory and regulatory requirements. You will manage all capital works and achieve best value through robust contract development and procurement.
Responsibilities
The role involves leading estates strategy across a multi-site portfolio, ensuring effective operation of assets and compliance with relevant legislation and standards. You will develop and oversee capital projects, manage contracts, and drive value through procurement and robust project delivery.
Qualifications
* Relevant professional qualification in estates or facilities management, surveying, or a related technical discipline, with membership of a relevant professional body.
* Proven track record in a senior estates or facilities management role, responsible for a diverse multi-site portfolio.
* Strategic thinker with a clear focus on long-term asset management and estate development planning.
* Credibility and the ability to motivate and inspire confidence of all stakeholders.
