Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to work for a 3 star Hotel. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in our facilities, ensuring a welcoming environment for all guests. This position requires a strong commitment to high standards of cleanliness and an ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
Duties
* Perform general cleaning tasks including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitising surfaces.
* Ensure that all rooms are cleaned to the highest standards, including bedrooms, bathrooms, and common areas.
* Handle laundry duties, including washing, drying, folding, and ironing linens as required.
* Assist with cooking or meal preparation when necessary, ensuring that kitchen areas are kept clean and tidy.
* Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to guest requests and maintaining a friendly demeanor.
* Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
* Maintain stock levels of cleaning supplies and report when items need replenishing.
Experience
* Previous janitorial or commercial cleaning experience is preferred but not essential.
* Experience in a hotel environment is advantageous, providing familiarity with hospitality standards.
* Strong customer service skills are essential for interacting with guests and ensuring their satisfaction.

Pay: £28,000.00-£32,000.00 per year
