Role overview
As a Family Visit Support and Play Worker, you will provide support to families visiting loved ones in the Visitor Centre. Visitor centre services include play and children’s services, as well as catering.
About You:
To be successful in this role, you will have experience and understanding of working with families in challenging environments, ideally involving offenders and/or their families. You will also have excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage a demanding workload. You should be able to contribute to the planning and development of Pact’s family work and have knowledge of safeguarding/child protection practices. Additionally, you will possess excellent interpersonal and customer service skills and be capable of building partnerships with a range of agencies.

Other Information:
This role involves a rolling two-week rota with the following schedule:
* Week 1: Wednesday 12:00-16:30, Saturday 11:30-16:30, Sunday 11:30-16:30
* Week 2: Three days from Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, with 1 x 4.5-hour shift and 2 x 5-hour shifts
