Selective Recruiting is looking for an experience CDP to work within an Oxford College in the heart of Oxford City Centre.

Salary: £31,577
Contract: 40 hours per week
Hours: 5 out of 7 days – Rota basis
Roles Includes:
· Responsible for working collaboratively within the kitchen team, following the direction of the Head Chef or deputy, to uphold high standards in food production for daily catering and special events as outlined in menus.
· Play a key role in determining how food should be presented and creates decorative food displays.
· Timely completion of tasks in accordance with recipes or direction from kitchen management.
· Adherence to the Food Safety Act and General Food Hygiene Regulations.
· Knowledge and understanding of food allergens to accommodate dietary restrictions.
· Compliance with Health and Safety Regulations, including COSHH guidelines.
· Reduction of kitchen wastage to a minimum.
· Upholding strict confidentiality at all times.
· Willingness to perform additional duties as assigned by the Head Chef or supervising staff.
Candidate specification:
· Team player mindset, willing to assist colleagues and adapt to a fast-paced work environment.
· NVQ Level 2 catering qualification (City and Guilds 7061/7062) or equivalent.
