Our client is a leading international company engaged in Intelligent Power and Control Solutions for circuit board-based electrical systems in the areas of power management, sensors, and controls within the automotive market and other industries. They operate across the UK, Europe, Asia, and America.
This role presents an exciting opportunity to manage a portfolio of customers across the Manchester/North West region.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities:
1. Implement defined targets and sales strategies for the assigned region and customer base.
2. Coordinate sales activities and Account Development Managers (ADMs) in the region.
3. Develop the market, sectors, and customer base in this region.
4. Assess market potential across strategic accounts.
5. Drive growth and business development through new project and customer acquisition.
6. Develop vision and strategy in collaboration with the Head of Sales and design/executing suitable sales activities (e.g., Smart Account Plan for key accounts, vision, and business plan).
7. Generate ideas and collaborate on continuous improvement of processes, systems, and pathways to ensure high growth and a successful sales organization.
8. Ensure the implementation and focus on all operational activities.
9. Maintain customer relationships and ensure positive results.
10. Ensure compliance with company policies and guidelines.
11. Manage the sales team, including creation of personal development plans and ongoing training requirements.
Candidate Profile:
* 3-5 years of accountable B2B sales experience within the electronics, electrical, or related components industry (e.g., vehicles, construction machinery).
* Experience working in a design-led sales environment, collaborating with design, procurement, and engineering teams.
* Strong negotiation skills, a dynamic and driven approach, and motivation to achieve results.
* Ability to work remotely while collaborating with the team and occasionally traveling to the office.
* Experience in team leadership, guiding, and motivating personnel.
