Contract Type: Locum
Pay Rate: £29–£30 per hour (PAYE, depending on experience)
Hours: Full-time preferred (part-time considered - Weekdays)
Role Overview:
A leading radiotherapy centre in Swindon is seeking an experienced Locum Treatment Radiographer to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a modern, patient-focused environment with cutting-edge technology and a supportive multidisciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver precise and compassionate radiotherapy treatment in line with clinical protocols.
* Operate Varian linear accelerators and manage treatment workflows using the ARIA oncology information system.
* Conduct daily quality assurance checks and adhere to safety standards.
* Collaborate with clinical and technical staff to ensure optimal patient care.
* Maintain accurate treatment records and contribute to service development initiatives.
Qualifications:
* BSc (Hons) in Therapeutic Radiography or equivalent.
* Current HCPC registration.
* Recent experience in a treatment radiographer role.
* Proficiency with Varian systems and ARIA software is essential.
* Strong communication and teamwork skills.
* Experience with advanced techniques such as IGRT, VMAT, or SABR.
* Previous locum experience in a similar clinical setting.
