Customer Service/Sales Administrator

Full time 40 hours per week – Monday to Friday 8.30am-5pm
Our client are looking to recruit an enthusiastic, confident and reliable person who is committed to exceptional customer service. Someone with excellent interpersonal skills effectively communicating with customers you will need a good standard of education and will want a position that offers a challenge and the use of initiative.
To fulfil the role of the Customer Service Assistant you will have excellent communication skills and experience of dealing with customers on a face to face basis.
Key Responsibilities:
Customer service:
• Liaising with customers via email and telephone and by engaging in face-to-face enquiries in
the showroom
• Processing quotations, purchase orders, sales orders, pro forma invoices and VAT invoice
• Providing basic technical advice
• Stationery ordering
Sales:
• Working with Area Sales Managers to ensure effective communication with customers on
prestigious projects.
• Analysing and monitoring sales data
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
• An understanding of the sales process
• An ability to read non-detailed shop drawings
• A strong commercial / market awareness
• Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office
• Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics NAV operating system would be an advantage
• Effective communication and organisational skills
• Ability to work without supervision or as part of a multifunctional team
• Ability and willingness to work flexible working hours
• Ability to develop effective working relationships
• Honesty and a high level of integrity
• A systematic approach and good attention to detail
