About the Role
Join Carlsberg’s global procurement team as a Sustainability Analyst, supporting our ambitious sustainable sourcing strategy. This dynamic role connects procurement excellence with environmental stewardship, providing critical analytical support to ensure our supply chain meets rigorous sustainability standards. Working closely with the Senior Manager for Supplier Sustainability, you will help drive decarbonisation initiatives, ensure compliance with emerging regulations, and support the wider procurement function.
Role Responsibilities
* Analyse and report on supply chain decarbonisation progress, collaborating closely with category managers and suppliers to track carbon reduction initiatives
* Support supplier compliance with the EU Deforestation Regulation (EUDR), the Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation (PPWR), and other sustainability frameworks through detailed analytics and reporting
* Manage sustainability assessments during supplier onboarding and tender processes, ensuring alignment with Sedex requirements and Scope 3 emissions reporting
* Provide data-driven sustainability insights for major sourcing events and upskill the procurement team through targeted sustainability training
* Conduct supply chain sustainability risk assessments and mapping to identify improvement opportunities
* Deliver cross-functional analytical support for wider sustainability business reporting, including greenhouse gas accounting
* Maintain sustainability resources within category management platforms and support their effective utilisation
Experience and Key Attributes
* Strong analytical capabilities with advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI and procurement systems (SAP/Sievo experience preferred)
* Demonstrated understanding of Science Based Targets, carbon accounting methodologies, and sustainability reporting frameworks
* Knowledge of procurement processes and category management, with experience in sustainable procurement practices
* Familiarity with the EU Deforestation Regulation (EUDR), the Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation (PPWR), and responsible sourcing platforms such as Sedex is highly advantageous
* Excellent collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across functions and influence stakeholders
* Passion for sustainability, coupled with a proactive, solution-oriented mindset
* Degree qualification (or equivalent), with CIPS certification beneficial but not required
