The Role…
As Head of Hearst Global Solutions, you will be responsible for driving global opportunities, strengthening relationships with senior clients and agencies, and positioning Hearst as a trusted partner within the industry. Working closely with CMOs, wider marketing teams, agencies, and international stakeholders, you will shape long-term partnerships and deliver innovative, forward-thinking solutions. By combining commercial acumen with strategic vision, you will play a pivotal role in driving sustainable revenue growth while enhancing Hearst’s global reputation.
Main Duties…
1. Collaborate with the Managing Director, Clients to set the standard for Hearst Global Solutions (HGS) and position it as a leader in delivering strategic and innovative solutions.
2. Enhance Hearst’s reputation as a trusted partner by building strong relationships with senior clients, agencies, and global markets.
3. Drive alignment between HGS and the UK Commercial team by attending key meetings, sharing global updates, and showcasing impactful client partner case studies.
4. Foster strong collaboration with internal teams, including Global Account Management, the Creative Hub, and other departments across Hearst.
5. Accelerate global opportunities beyond London, with a focus on markets including the Netherlands, Germany, the Nordics, and the UAE.
6. Contribute to Hearst’s global ambitions and play a central role in shaping long-term international growth strategies.
7. Take ownership of $18M revenue delivery, ensuring accurate forecasting, robust pipeline management, and effective governance to maximise growth.
8. Support the MD Clients with budget setting and deployment, optimising spends to achieve ambitious revenue targets.
9. Lead, inspire, and mentor a team of professionals in the UK, while managing global representative markets including Germany, the Middle East, and the Netherlands.
10. Recruit, develop, and retain top talent, fostering a high-performance culture across the department.
11. Act as an ambassador for Hearst and its values, representing the company with integrity and vision in all external and internal interactions.
12. Undertake additional duties as required in line with skills, experience, and business needs.
About You…
13. Extensive experience in client management, global solutions, and revenue generation within the media industry, with a strong background in strategic account management or business development.
14. A proven track record of building and nurturing senior-level client and agency relationships - including CMOs, marketing teams, and international stakeholders - that deliver long-term growth and customer satisfaction.
15. Strong relationship-builder, confident in maintaining regular contact with top-tier global clients, collaborating with senior internal stakeholders, and sharing best practice with peers across international markets.
16. Deep understanding of the global media landscape, industry trends, and emerging technologies, with expertise across digital advertising, content marketing, social media, programmatic, and related areas.
17. Strategic thinker with the ability to set vision, design tailored solutions and present them with authority to senior clients and agency partners.
18. Commercially minded with strong financial acumen, experienced in managing budgets, setting ambitious targets, and delivering results through data-driven decision making.
19. Experienced leader with a track record of developing and inspiring high-performing teams, recruiting top talent, and fostering a collaborative, results-driven culture.
20. Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
21. Proficiency in Salesforce (or similar CRM systems), with the ability to manage pipelines, forecast revenue accurately, and use data to drive performance.
22. Familiarity with Hearst and its portfolio of brands is advantageous.
