We are looking for an enthusiastic, ambitious and skilled Caretaker to be part of our commitment to achieving excellence. We are a four-form entry primary school with a pre-school. William Harding is resourced well to drive forward teaching and learning.
Salary: Band 2, Point 11 to 15 (£26,522 to £28,742) depending on experience.
Contract: Permanent
Hours: Full time, 37 hours per weeks, covering the hours of 07:00 to 19:00 on a shift rota basis. 52 weeks PA

About the role
To provide a welcoming, safe and clean environment for users of the school buildings and grounds; security duties as directed on school premises and site.

About you
Applicants should:
1. Have worked in Caretaking, Building maintenance, Facilities, Security, including alarm and fire safety systems
2. Have the ability to work flexibly, independently and as part of a team
3. Have used a facilities job ticketing system
4. Have basic DIY skills
5. Be reasonably fit to carry out the duties of the job
6. Be able to carry out manual handling and lifting
7. Be willing to work in all weather conditions – clothing will be supplied
