About The Role: Working Pattern The working day is 06:00 - 14:00 with flexibility based on the clients needs, this role will mainly be Monday to Friday with some weekends for overtime. This role will include access to a company van. If you have previous window cleaning experience this is preferred, ideally 1-2 years of experience in a similar role. Specialist Window Cleaning (SWC), part of the OCS Group, are currently recruiting for a Window Cleaner to join our passionate and driven team covering retail sites around Birmingham. Key responsibilities: To carry out window cleaning works scheduled by the supervisor or line manager in a timely, safe manner for commercial buildings mainly retail sites. This role will include travel to around 30 minutes driving time either way, and travel time will be included in your working day. Be aware of the condition of the equipment to ensure that all equipment is in safe working order, checked regularly and serviced. Report any faults to supervisor/ management. Comply with all Company & Client policies and statutory regulations relating to Health & Safety, safe working practices hygiene, cleanliness, fire and COSHH. Follow client/company guidelines with regards to the identification and reporting of health and safety hazards e.g., blocked/locked fire doors. Report any customer complaints or compliments and take some remedial action if possible. Report immediately any incidents of accident, fire, theft, loss, damage or other irregularities to the Line Manager/ supervisor. You will meet the following criteria: Must have right to work in the UK. You must hold a full UK Driving License. You will have experience in window cleaning and ideally in working at heights and high buildings You must have the ability to work well on your own, be self-sufficient and motivated whilst also being comfortable working as part of a team and following instruction.
