Overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen for enthusiastic and motivated Sonographers (Nurse, Midwife, or Radiographer background) to join the Obstetric Ultrasound Team at NHS Forth Valley as Bank Sonographers.
You’ll be supported by an experienced team to deliver safe, effective, and patient-centred care to women across Forth Valley. Joining the staff bank is ideal if you’re looking to fit work around lifestyle or personal commitments, or if you’re seeking additional hours.
Qualifications
* Be NMC registered as a nurse/midwife (RM/RN) or registered with the HCPC as a radiographer.
* Hold a postgraduate certificate/qualification in Obstetrics and Gynaecology Ultrasound (which may include a course in ultrasound QA).
* Be HCPC registered or equivalent, with clinical ultrasound experience and be able to work autonomously.
* Excellent technical and interpersonal skills ensuring the delivery of high-quality care.
Responsibilities
* Deliver safe, effective, and patient-centred obstetric ultrasound care to women across Forth Valley as part of the Obstetric Ultrasound Team.
* Work autonomously within the scope of the role and contribute to the delivery of high-quality care.
* Collaborate with colleagues to support service delivery and patient safety.
