As a Procurement Operations Specialist, you’ll drive continuous improvement, build and optimise procurement systems, enhance reporting and analytics, support key procurement processes, and act as a super‑user for the firm’s core procurement tools. Key Responsibilities Procurement Systems & Data Support the build and rollout of the new purchase order system Create and manage MI/BI dashboards and performance metrics Drive improvements across procurement systems and processes Act as super‑user for core tools, including Prevalent, Chrome River, Power BI, SharePoint, Power Automate, Supplier Onboarding tools, and Copilot AI Agents Maintain and enhance supplier portals, onboarding tools, dashboards and workflows Deliver training and create user guides for procurement systems Operational Procurement Manage low-value, low-risk RFQs, including supplier identification and vetting Negotiate with vendors to secure the best commercial terms Generate purchase orders and maintain documentation Support global procurement processes, templates, controls and approvals Lead and support procurement-related projects and internal initiatives Supplier Due Diligence, Contracts & Reporting Conduct supplier onboarding risk assessments Manage and track contracts across categories, ensuring renewals and remediation where needed Analyse spend and categorise suppliers in Power BI Lead monthly supplier data quality reviews with AP teams and category managers Procurement Support Serve as first‑line contact for procurement enquiries Maintain procurement intranet content, project trackers and reporting packs Essential Skills & Experience Systems, Data & Automation Advanced skills with Power BI, SharePoint, Power Automate, Microsoft Forms Experience developing, managing and improving procurement systems/tools Confident building automated reports and Outlook‑based communications Experience using AI tools such as Copilot, including building Agents Advanced Excel skills (Lookups, Macros, Power Query) Procurement Operations & Governance Experience in a Procurement Category or Operational team across multiple spend areas Ability to manage end‑to‑end RFx processes, supplier management, contract oversight and PO generation Strong stakeholder management and communication skills Continuous Improvement & Analysis Proven examples of delivering enhancements to processes and workflows Strong analytical capability with the ability to interpret data and provide insight Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast‑moving environment Qualifications CIPS or willingness to work towards it is desirable What sets this role apart Opportunity to shape and optimise a growing global procurement function A highly technical, data‑driven role with ownership of multiple tools and platforms Hands‑on involvement in digital transformation, automation and AI within procurement What’s in it for you Modern, flexible working – Minimum 2 days per week in the office, 3 days from home Join an award‑winning global firm recognised by Chambers, Legal 500 and Best Lawyers Career progression and development including formal learning, secondments and mobility Inclusive, supportive culture with global recognition for DE&I and pro bono work Attractive perks including life assurance from day one, lifestyle discounts, wellbeing day, EAP access, and more Please note: eligibility for benefits may vary based on location and length of service.
