Interim Social Housing Accountant | Up to 9Months | Up to £375 Per Day | Hybrid | Greater Manchester | Housing Your new company You’ll be joining a well‑established social housing provider in Greater Manchester at a time of continued organisational change and investment. The finance team is committed to delivering high-quality, community‑focused services, and you’ll play a key role in strengthening financial reporting and supporting operational decision‑making across the organisation. Your new role As Interim Senior Accountant, you will provide hands‑on technical and operational support across the finance function. Your responsibilities will include: Leading on month‑end and year‑end processes, ensuring timely and accurate reporting Producing management accounts, variance analysis, and board‑level reporting packs Supporting budget holders with financial insights and performance updates Assisting with audit preparation and acting as a key point of contact for external auditors Enhancing financial controls, improving processes, and supporting ongoing transformation projects Contributing to cashflow forecasting, balance sheet reconciliations, and technical accounting queries This is a hybrid role requiring presence on site in Greater Manchester each week.
