HARP (Haweswater Aqueduct Resilience Programme) is United Utilities' largest capital project, involving the replacement of 6 tunnel sections along the aqueduct. This multi-billion pound project aims to secure drinking water supplies to millions of customers in the North West and will leave a lasting legacy.

As a Senior Project Engineer on HARP, you will oversee technical aspects of the project, interface with various stakeholders, and ensure design development, technical review, assurance, and leadership during outages and connections. You will drive technical excellence and ensure seamless engineering integration across the programme.
You will have visibility of our major contracts and industry partners, witnessing the project's construction and directly impacting our success. Key accountabilities
* Collaborate with delivery teams and stakeholders for successful engineering outcomes
* Enhance engineering processes and practices across projects
* Develop and implement project engineering plans aligned with client expectations
* Represent the engineering perspective, manage risks, and drive performance
Skills & experience
Essential criteria include:
* Chartered or Incorporated Engineer or equivalent experience
* Experience providing technical advice, leading multidisciplinary projects, and managing engineering teams
* Hold a current UK/EU driving licence
