The Urgent & Integrated care division are looking for an experienced and committed individual with the knowledge and skillset to support the development of leadership, teams, and individual staff with the aim of optimising both patient & staff wellbeing.
There is an expectation that the successful applicant will have a proven record of providing structured, transformational, & education programmes to meet the required learning needs of a variety of teams within multiple divisional specialties.
The role will require the individual to be a skilled change agent guided by data and gap analysis, whilst focusing on promoting leadership capabilities, and styles that meet the needs of individual teams.

Main duties of the job
* To take a strategic role in the design, implementation, delivery and review of educational programmes through key transformation and practice development projects enhancing the learning environments within the division in partnership with key stakeholders.
* Act as a role model through strong education leadership, evidence-based training and education support and implementation of educational transformational change.
* The post holder will be an expert education practitioner and a change agent, promoting lifelong learning through designing and embedding core education curriculum and competency frameworks for qualified and unqualified staff in the clinical area, ensuring that they achieve their full potential in clinical effectiveness and delivery of high-quality patient care.
* To provide pastoral care and support throughout the division with a focus on individual and team development building a learning culture.

Detailed job description and main responsibilities
* The post holder will lead on education transformation and practice development projects within the clinical area.
* The post holder will contribute to the delivery of wider educational programmes of work
* The post holder will contribute to the divisional wide annual non-medical Learning Needs Analysis through providing key educational leadership to each clinical area they are supporting identifying learning and development gaps through training needs and skills gap analysis processes working in conjunction with ward leads.
* The post holder will be an active participant in relevant operational/strategic committees as required within the remit of the post.
* The post holder will contribute to other educational activity as appropriate.

Education, Qualifications &Training
Essential criteria
* Minimum of 2 years’ experience working in a clinical education setting at a senior level
* Educated to master’s level or equivalent experience.
* Minimum of 3 years post-qualification clinical experience at a band 6 level.
* Up to date professional NMC/HCPC registration
* Recognised Teaching or Education qualification.
* Evidence of recent CPD
* Project management qualification
* Coaching qualification
* Leadership qualification
Knowledge & Experience
Essential criteria
* Knowledge and Understanding of Learning Needs Analysis processes
* Knowledge and experience of using Quality improvement methodologies.
* Experience of delivering clinical skills and simulation training
* Experience of facilitating change
* Experience of staff management / supervision.
* Experience of designing and implementing education and curriculum frameworks
* Knowledge of national and local education drivers.
* Evidence of an ability to facilitate, critically analyse and implement research and audit processes.
* Experience of report writing
