An exciting opportunity has arisen for a receptionist at the King's Clinical Research Facility (CRF). This NHS research facility is based in Denmark Hill, London, and serves a diverse local population. It works closely with King's College London, one of the most distinguished research-intensive universities in the city.
The CRF provides a dedicated, well‑equipped and professional environment that enables medical staff and scientists to investigate disease and trial the latest scientific ideas for improving diagnosis and treatment. The facility offers comfortable clinical accommodation for volunteers and patients participating in studies requiring long‑term 24‑hour in‑house monitoring, as well as facilities for day‑case visits. It is equipped to cater for complex studies across a wide range of medical disciplines and provides close‑proximity space for clinical research fellows, nurses and allied healthcare professionals.
Responsibilities
The receptionist is considered the "face" of the facility. You will greet all patients, study volunteers, families and staff in a polite, welcoming and efficient manner. Your role also includes providing administrative service to patients and researchers, supporting the clinical team by ordering clinical equipment and consumables, and ensuring the smooth running of the facility.
