This is a fantastic opportunity to join our Group Audit team! We are a global team with the opportunity to work across different functions within the Tesco Group. You will collaborate with a wide range of colleagues at all levels and share your findings with Executives. We focus on innovation to streamline and improve our work processes.
You will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of multiple audits that contribute to our global audit programme, providing independent assurance and insights to the business, and acting as a catalyst for change.
Your responsibilities include:
1. Owning a portfolio of audits annually, including planning audit objectives, performing ad hoc in-flight audits, and assurance engagements on ongoing change initiatives.
2. Writing audit reports and key deliverables, providing accurate and timely information to stakeholders such as the Executive, Audit Committee, and Board.
3. Implementing new technology approaches, including automation, data analytics, and continuous improvement, to enhance assurance and insights.
4. Managing change projects and applying design thinking to improve the Group Risk and Audit functions, as well as contributing to other improvement projects.
5. Driving your own audit training, including self-learning about the business and industry, and acting with integrity and due diligence according to our Business Code of Conduct.
Requirements include:
1. Accountancy qualification and/or IIA qualification.
2. Significant experience in internal audit.
3. Project management and change management experience.
4. Strong problem-solving skills to identify pragmatic solutions.
