Their Outsourcing & Tax teams are expanding due to the rollout of Making Tax Digital for Income Tax (MTD IT), and they’re now creating a brand‑new leadership role to build and scale a centralised service line.This is a practice that invests heavily in its people, embraces digital tools, and genuinely supports progression. You’ll be part of a collaborative, high‑performing environment with plenty of visibility across the firm.Your new roleAs Outsourcing Senior Manager (MTD for Income Tax), you’ll spearhead the design and delivery of a new service model covering quarterly reporting, digital recordkeeping and final declarations under MTD IT.Key areas include:
* Designing and implementing a scalable, centralised outsourcing service for MTD IT
* Building workflows, pricing models, team structures and digital processes
* Leading client communication, onboarding and digital transformation (Xero & Landmark)
* Migrating clients away from manual systems to compliant digital solutions
* Recruiting and managing a delivery team as the service grows
* Working closely with the Tax team to align quarterly data with year‑end tax positions
Important: This is not an IT/technology role.“IT” here refers solely to Income Tax — this is a qualified accountancy/tax outsourcing role, not a systems or infrastructure post.What you’ll need to succeedYou’ll be a commercially and operationally strong outsourcer with a genuine passion for tax‑led digital transformation.Essential:
* ACA or ACCA qualified
* Strong income tax knowledge, ideally including MTD IT
* Background in outsourcing / accounts / finance operations within practice
* Experience designing processes, workflows or new service lines
* Confident communicator with proven commercial acumen
* Comfortable leading teams and driving change
