Role Description
This is a full‑time, on‑site role for an Advanced Scaffolder, based in East Kilbride. The Advanced Scaffolder will be responsible for assembling, maintaining, and dismantling scaffolding structures to meet project specifications and safety standards. Daily tasks will include interpreting technical drawings, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, inspecting scaffolding equipment, and collaborating with team members to meet project timelines. The successful candidate will also mentor junior team members and maintain effective communication with project managers and site supervisors to ensure project needs are met.
Qualifications
* Experience in advanced scaffolding techniques, with the ability to safely erect, modify, and dismantle various scaffolding structures
* Knowledge of health and safety regulations, including compliance with industry standards and risk assessments
* Proficient in reading technical drawings and interpreting project requirements
* Strong teamwork and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and supervisors
* Capability to inspect and maintain scaffolding tools and equipment
* CISRS (Construction Industry Scaffolders Record Scheme) Advanced Scaffolder qualification or equivalent
* Additional certifications such as working at heights, harness training, or safety training are advantageous
* Ability to travel to and from the worksite and perform physically demanding tasks
