Salary: Up to circa £45k DOE + car + bonus + benefits
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a well-established manufacturer and distributor within the electrical industry, supplying directly to the electrical wholesale market.
We’re seeking a driven, self-motivated, and ambitious Area Sales Manager to cover the Scotland/North East territory. This role is ideal for a results-focused sales professional who thrives on building relationships and driving business growth.
What you’ll be doing:
Develop and deliver a strong sales strategy within the wholesale/contractor market
Strengthen relationships with existing key accounts while identifying opportunities for mutual growth
Proactively generate new business and maximise sales opportunities
Promote new product launches and company promotions to customers
Monitor and achieve regional sales targets, taking proactive action where needed
Stay up to date on competitor activity and market trends
Collaborate closely with the Sales Director, fellow Area Sales Managers, and internal teams
What we’re looking for:
A proven track record in field sales (ideally with an electrical manufacturer or related construction materials)
Strong commercial and financial awareness
Confident communicator with the ability to influence at all levels
Ambition, passion, and the drive to succeed in a competitive market
