Driver Hire Bournemouth and Salisbury are excited to be offering a flexible temporary opportunity for a delivery Van Driver in Dorchester. For this role, you will be responsible for Food deliveriesin the local area. The typical amount of drops per day is 8-12.
Position: Van Driver (Category B)
Days: Monday – Friday (flexible)
Location: Dorchester
The successful Van Driver will have:
* experience in delivering using 3.5t vehicles
* a valid UK Category B driving licence (max. 6 penalty points)
* own reliable transport to travel to work
* physical fitness and familiarity with loading and unloading in a safe manner
Responsibilities:
* adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations
* follow delivery schedules and routes provided by the dispatcher
* maintain cleanliness and organisation of the vehicle
* safely operate our client’s vans to deliver goods
* load and unload goods from the van, ensuring accuracy and efficiency
Our Van Driver offer:
* a minimum of 8 hours’ pay is guaranteed for every shift
* weekly pay
* 24/7 service
* temp-perm opportunities
This position is commutable from Weymouth, Bridport, Poole and other areas near to Dorchester.
