Responsibilities
As Principal / Lead Scientist you will work closely with the Chief Scientist on a range of new and existing cutting-edge research experiments focused on Aluminium Hydroxide from clean Hydrogen production. Existing innovative projects and experiments are underway with partnerships with leading names in the industry as well as advanced technology in this field. As Principal / Lead Scientist, previous experience with Aluminium Hydroxide is preferred and would be even better if it relates to Green Hydrogen/Filtration. A PhD or Master is required, preferably in Chemistry, Engineering or Environmental Science as Principal / Lead Scientist. Previous commercial experience working within the Energy or Chemical sector is preferred; as Principal / Lead Scientist with Chemical Engineering or Material Science would be a bonus. Strong real-world and theoretical chemistry principles are essential, as are modern laboratory techniques and equipment (X-ray, spectroscopy, mechanical/chemical, electrical properties, etc.). As Lead / Principal Scientist there may be occasional travel to other UK sites, possibly a rare overseas conference or two per year. The role is scoped to eventually lead the science function, which given the nature of the business is likely to be high-profile and well-paid.
