Fair to say, this Senior National Account Manager role is one with teeth. Lead the Grocery and Discounter channel for a brand that’s gone from quietly ambitious to seriously disruptive. A household name in more homes than ever before, rooted in hygiene, built on trust, and growing fast across retail, online and beyond. It’s a fully commercial role with real scope: Full P&L ownership, Forecasting, JBP leadership, Commercial planning and looking after retail relationships at the top level. The big names, the big conversations, and the detail that drives performance week in, week out. This brand has strong backing and serious retail momentum, but it’s still lean and agile enough to move fast, respond to trends and land high-impact NPD that feels timely and relevant. That means growth plans that aren’t just theoretical. They’re resourced, realistic, and ready to go. Embrace the opportunity to work shoulder to shoulder with the Sales Director, the right-hand person on the biggest brick-and-mortar accounts. You’ll be trusted to lead, influence and deliver results whilst firmly having one eye on a Controller role as the team scales. It’s a big remit and that comes with a whole bunch of responsibility. You don’t have to worry though. You’ll be supported by a close-knit team that knows how to win without ego. Customer performance, forecasting, trade investment, pricing, promotions are all areas you’ll need to home in on to achieve the success in this role. You’ll need the numbers to hold up, the conversations to land, and the plans to move. Internally, that means working cross-functionally to get under the skin of the operation. Externally, it means showing up with credibility and clarity in every conversation, from buyers to heads of supply. Having lots of experience owning top Grocery or Discounter accounts is also key here. You’ll be comfortable taking the lead commercially but also happy in the detail. Tracking risks, surfacing insights, adjusting plans and doing what it takes to deliver the result.
