Oaklands Global is currently looking to recruit an experienced Air Traffic Control Officer (ATCO) to join our clients operational team. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a professional, safety-driven environment with long-term stability and career development.
Key Responsibilities
As an ATCO, your duties will include (but are not limited to):
1. Providing safe, orderly, and expeditious air traffic control services in accordance with UK CAA regulations and local procedures
2. Exercising Aerodrome Control and/or Approach Control responsibilities as per licence privileges
3. Maintaining continuous situational awareness to ensure the safe separation of aircraft and vehicles
4. Communicating clearly and effectively with pilots, ground handlers, emergency services, and other operational stakeholders
5. Responding effectively to abnormal and emergency situations
6. Complying with SMS, ATC manuals, and unit operating procedures
7. Participating in continuation training, competency checks, and safety reporting activities
Requirements
8. Valid ATCO Licence
9. ADI and APS ratings previously validated - Candidates with one validated rating may still be considered
10. Right to live and work in the UK
11. Strong communication, decision-making, and teamwork skills
