We’re looking for a motivated and hands‑on Manufacturing Engineer Apprentice to join our Operations Engineering team. You’ll learn real engineering skills, work with cutting‑edge technology, and be part of a team that builds products used around the world.
Responsibilities
What You’ll Be Doing
Learn by doing
1. Join team meetings, workshops, and practical training sessions.
2. Work across different departments—Production, Logistics, Purchasing—so you can see how everything fits together.
Get involved in real engineering
3. Help improve product designs and assemblies.
4. Use CAD software to create and develop engineering ideas.
5. Research new technologies that could make our manufacturing even better.
6. Take part in New Product Introduction projects.
Build essential skills
7. Learn all about health & safety.
8. Strengthen your critical thinking.
9. Keep a diary of what you’ve learned and the projects you’ve worked on.
Work with a supportive team
10. Build great relationships with engineers and technicians.
11. Get feedback, share your ideas, and contribute to improvements.
12. Gain confidence and experience that will set you up for your future career.
Study while you work
13. Attend college one day a week to gain your engineering qualifications.
Qualifications
What We’re Looking For
14. A genuine interest in Engineering & Manufacturing
15. Good time management and willingness to learn
16. Problem‑solving skills and a positive mindset
17. Computer skills (CAD experience is a bonus)
18. Able to ask questions, get involved, and work well with others
Qualifications Needed
19. GCSE English – Grade 4/C or above
20. GCSE Maths – Grade 4/C or above
21. Technology subject – Grade 4/C or above (Engineering‑related preferred)
