We are currently seeking to recruit a Social Worker, this post is a permanent position within a busy community older persons mental health team.
To help us recruit social workers who are committed to working in Middlesbrough we are currently offering a 10% market supplement to social work salaries, once ASYE is completed, this will be reviewed at the end of March 2026.
The Older people's community mental health team based at Woodside provides a Social Work service for Older People with Mental health issues, a diagnosed dementia and Adults diagnosed with early onset dementia in the Middlesbrough area, working with service users and their carers.
The successful applicant will:
* Have a degree in social work
* Have experience in adult social care
* Be able to work autonomously and be a team player
* Have sound assessment skills
* Be adaptable to change
* Be able to work in a busy environment and to tight time scales
* Have excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Be committed to multi-disciplinary working
