About The Role
We’re looking for a highly organised and proactive PA / Administrator to support our Director of People & Organisational Development (P&OD) at Avante Care & Support. This is a key role at the heart of the organisation, where you’ll provide dedicated one-to-one support to the Director while also playing an important part in the smooth running of the wider P&OD team. What You’ll Be Doing
* Providing high-quality PA and administrative support to the Director
* Managing a busy diary, coordinating meetings and ensuring thorough preparation
* Producing professional reports, presentations and correspondence
* Maintaining and improving systems, records and processes
* Supporting HR administration, including DBS checks and occupational health processes
* Responding to queries from managers and employees on policies and procedures
* Coordinating internal events such as leadership sessions, team days and awards
* Managing invoices, purchase orders and supplier relationships
* Supporting internal communications, including newsletters and LinkedIn updates
* Carrying out research and supporting project work
About You
You’ll be a person who is organised, detail-focused and confident working in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to build strong working relationships across all levels of the organisation.
We’re Particularly Looking For Someone Who
* Has experience in a PA or administrative role (ideally within HR or social care)
* Communicates clearly and professionally, both written and verbal
* Is confident using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word and PowerPoint
* Can manage competing priorities and stay calm under pressure
* Takes a proactive approach and enjoys solving problems
* Understands the importance of discretion and confidentiality
Skills & Experience
* Proven experience supporting senior stakeholders
* Strong organisational and time management skills
* Experience producing reports and presentations
* Comfortable working with data and maintaining accurate systems
* Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Qualifications
* GCSEs (or equivalent) in Maths and English
* Level 3 Business Administration (or working towards)
* CIPD Level 3 (or an interest in working towards it)

* Occasional travel may be required
