Main duties of the job
This involves planning and implementing care that provides residents with security, dignity, and independence. You will get to know residents and their families to deliver personalized care plans. Leading a team of Care Assistants, you will maintain high standards of care and influence the team positively. Tasks include assisting with mobility, end-of-life care, communication with families, providing social and recreational activities, and administering medication.

Job responsibilities
Responsibilities include delivering personalized care with kindness, leading a team, maintaining care standards, supporting residents and their families, providing social activities, administering medication, and maintaining accurate records. Candidates should ideally have a Level 2 Diploma in Adult Care and be willing to pursue Level 3. Experience in person-centered care planning and dementia care is desirable. Essential qualities include positive energy, good communication, time management, and kindness.

Safeguarding and training

Person Specification
Essential qualifications include senior care experience and NVQ Level 2 and 3 in Health and Social Care. Desirable qualifications mirror these requirements. Additional criteria emphasize experience, qualifications, and a caring attitude.
