We’re looking for dedicated and compassionate Support Workers to join our team at the Tullideph service in Dundee. The people we support have a range of needs including Learning Disabilities, Autism, Asperger’s Syndrome, Epilepsy, ADHD, Diabetes, Bi-Polar Disorder, Deafblindness, and Hearing Impairment. Each person has their own lifestyle, interests, and ambitions. Our approach is fully bespoke—whether it’s helping someone pursue a hobby, attend appointments, manage their health, or simply enjoy their day-to-day life.
Day to day you will
1. Promote independence, individuality and achievement of goals, with the voices of the people we support at the very centre of everything you do
2. Assist with various tasks such as personal care, housework, administering medication and meal preparation
3. Attend and participate in meaningful activities both at home and in the community, including cinema, music groups, travel, art, walking groups, voluntary work and swimming
4. Liaise with your team and with others to review and ensure you are providing the best quality care
5. Maintain accurate up-to-date daily recordings
Shift times
Shift times vary from 7:30am to 10:00pm, across a variety of early, late, mid, sleepover and night shifts (in one of our services). This includes a mix of lone working and 2:1 shifts, with each shift supporting only one individual—giving you the opportunity to build strong, trusting relationships and provide consistent, high-quality support.
