Daniel Owen is proud to represent a well-known company based in the Alton, Hampshire area, seeking a highly skilled Resident Liaison Officer - Housing to join their team.
Description of the Role:
The role involves providing first-class liaison and administrative support in a busy environment, liaising with a diverse customer base professionally and efficiently. The aim is to ensure high levels of customer and client satisfaction.
Responsibilities include:
* Visiting residents prior to work commencement to introduce the company, communicate the scope of works, provide contact numbers, and a resident handbook detailing the RLO and project process.
* Assessing high-risk/vulnerable residents and ensuring the Site Manager tailors works accordingly, adhering to safe working practices.
* Carrying out property condition surveys, floor protection, and appliance surveys with photographs before work begins.
* Establishing residents' individual requirements through initial profiling, documenting discussions, and tailoring plans accordingly, working with site staff to implement practices.
* Supporting the smooth running of the project tracker.
* Developing effective relationships with client representatives, such as the housing department, to ensure consistent communication and positive relationships.
* Creating and maintaining files (both paper and electronic) for each resident/job, maintaining discretion due to the sensitive nature of data.
* Liaising with site management and sub-contractors to ensure timely project delivery and high standards of work.
* Supporting site managers to meet resident needs and ensuring the project runs smoothly.
* Assisting RLO Manager and Senior RLO with onboarding new RLOs, providing support and shadowing opportunities.
* Consulting with resident groups and representatives as appropriate, arranging meetings to communicate the programme, gather feedback, and address issues.
