Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate self-employed Maths Tutor to join our Alternative Provision educational team for 10 hours a week. We have a student waiting.
The ideal candidate will have a background in tutoring or teaching, with experience working with teenagers, including those with special educational needs.
This role is perfect for individuals who are committed to fostering a positive learning environment and helping students achieve their goals.
Duties
* Provide one-on-one tutoring tailored to the needs of the student.
* Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that address specific learning objectives.
* Assess student progress and adapt teaching methods accordingly to ensure effective learning outcomes.
* Foster a supportive and encouraging atmosphere that promotes student confidence and motivation.
* Communicate effectively with us regarding student performance and areas for improvement.
* Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance.
Requirements
* Proven experience in tutoring or teaching, with an understanding of educational principles.
* Experience working with children, including those with special educational needs, is highly desirable.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively engage with students and their families.
* Strong organisational skills to manage lesson planning and student records efficiently.
