With a significant UK project portfolio, they are now appointing a senior MEP Project Director to lead a major manufacturing development in Bristol. The Role – MEP Project Director This is a senior leadership position responsible for the full delivery of a £20m MEP package on a new office and state of the art manufacturing facility in Bristol. As MEP Project Director, you will take ownership of programme, commercial performance, technical compliance and team leadership from pre construction through to commissioning and handover. You will lead the project management and engineering teams on site, ensuring that mechanical, electrical and public health systems are delivered safely, to specification and in line with client expectations. This is a high profile, technically demanding project requiring strong leadership, clear communication and proven experience delivering complex UK construction projects. Key Responsibilities • Provide strategic leadership for the full MEP scope on a major manufacturing and commercial development • Oversee planning, programme management and delivery of all mechanical, electrical and public health services • Lead and mentor Project Managers, MEP Engineers and site management teams • Ensure full compliance with UK building regulations, health and safety standards and quality procedures • Manage procurement strategy, subcontractor performance and supply chain coordination • Drive commercial performance, cost control, contract administration and risk management • Chair client and consultant meetings, providing clear reporting on progress, risk and financial status • Oversee commissioning strategy, technical sign off and project handover • Report to senior leadership, contributing to wider business strategy and operational planning About You • Degree qualified in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Building Services or Construction Management • Chartered status or working towards professional accreditation is advantageous • Proven track record delivering £20m MEP packages on UK construction projects • Strong background in manufacturing, industrial, pharmaceutical or high tech facilities is highly desirable • Deep understanding of mechanical and electrical systems, commissioning and regulatory compliance • Strong commercial awareness with experience managing contracts and protecting margin • Experienced in leading multidisciplinary site teams in a fast paced construction environment • Decisive, organised and capable of managing competing priorities • Willing to undergo full background checks, security vetting and NDA clearance What’s on Offer Salary: Competitive executive level package (DOE) Benefits: • Performance related bonus • Pension contribution • Private healthcare • Professional development support • Employee Assistance Programme • Health and wellness initiatives • Long term career progression within a growing international contractor Why Apply?
