About the Role
Your role as a Senior Care Assistant will involve supporting the Care team to deliver high standards of personal care, ensuring a safe, caring, innovative, open, supportive, and inclusive environment for residents, visitors, and staff.
Additional responsibilities include:
* Monitoring the wellbeing of each resident, noting any changes impacting care and updating care plans accordingly.
* Participating in person-centred care planning, implementing, monitoring, and conducting monthly evaluations.
* Supporting residents with medication requirements.
* Undertaking staff supervision and supporting staff development.
* Acting as a key contact for residents, relatives, visitors, and health and social care professionals, ensuring requests are addressed and concerns escalated as needed.
About You

Our ideal candidate will:
* Hold an NVQ 3 or equivalent in care for care homes.
* Have at least 2 years’ experience in a similar care environment.
* Be able to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
* Have a positive attitude towards supporting and nurturing residents and staff.
* Be responsive and flexible to a range of responsibilities.
