Overview
Could you be passionate about making a significant contribution to ensuring that patients with leukaemia, lymphoma, aplastic anaemia and immune deficiency disorders receive the highest quality and most effective treatments and care to live well?
The British Society of Blood and Marrow Transplantation and Cellular Therapy (BSBMTCT) is seeking to appoint a 0.8 WTE Chief Executive, initially for 18 months, to lead the work of the Society and its national data registry.
Working for BSBMTCT offers a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact on both the clinical community and the lives of patients. As a Society we are patient focused, inclusive and collaborative, and committed to improving outcomes through high quality, innovative work. Our culture reflects a strong sense of community and partnership across the UK and internationally.
In a rapidly evolving landscape shaped by novel cellular therapies, BSBMTCT plays a vital role in developing clinical guidelines, supporting research, analysing national data, influencing policy and advocating for patients. Our team works with leading experts in stem cell transplantation and cellular therapy, united by a shared mission to improve care and advance the field.
Staff are hosted by Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust and benefit from NHS employment while contributing directly to improving patient survival and quality of life.
