Description About the role This is an exciting opportunity for a Project Quantity Surveyor to be a key part of our Regional Business Commercial Team delivering numerous multifaceted Highways and Civil Engineering projects across the South West region. You will report directly to the Senior/Managing Quantity Surveyor and work closely alongside Commercial and Operations colleagues and other business areas of Corserv Solutions. About you Relevant surveying related qualification and/or proven experience in the related industry fields; Successful and consistent commercial achievement in scheme/project delivery; Sound knowledge of procurement processes, ECI and contracts, Health and Safety and risk management; A good understanding of Contract Conditions, NEC ECC contract practical experience is preferable; Extensive experience in supply chain commercial administration; Experience of giving advice to and building effective relationships plus enhancing the reputation of the business with stakeholders, partners and clients; Extensive experience in financial management and cost control of construction and engineering projects; Demonstrates sound negotiating, written, social and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate well; Proven experience in cost control management of construction projects.
