We have a fantastic opportunity for full-time Ambulance Care Assistants to join our team based in Stafford, Staffordshire.
Role Overview
An Ambulance Care Assistant (ACA) is a rewarding role involving helping individuals in need, including transporting elderly, sick, and vulnerable service users to and from medical appointments and between healthcare facilities. The role may require working in two-person crews or alone, so a full UK driving license and good physical fitness are essential.
This is a full-time position, working 4 x 10-hour shifts weekly, including some weekends with variable shifts, early starts, and late finishes. Please only apply if you can commit to these hours.

Key Responsibilities
* Transporting 'end of life' service users with empathy
* Effective communication with patients and families
* Lifting, securing, and assisting service users in and out of ambulances
* Handover of patients at treatment centers or homes
* Transferring patients in various settings
* Assisting with challenging behavior and mental health issues
* Maintaining ambulance safety, cleanliness, and tidiness
Candidate Requirements
* Commitment to patient care
* Effective communication skills, especially in emotional situations
* Calm, careful driver with no more than three penalty points
* Teamwork and collaboration skills
* Physical fitness for patient handling
* Pass an Enhanced DBS check (company funded)
* Ability to work flexible shifts
* Familiarity with local area
