Who you’ll be supporting & more about the role:

We are both male and female and our ages range from 54-86. Albany bungalow has 3 lovely ladieslive there and Lyndhurst have two lovely Gentlemen and a lady.We have some challenges, such as physical disabilities, sight and speech impairment and can needsupport getting out and about, supporting us with medication and some personal care needs. Thestaff here are trained and familiar in supporting people with complex needs. We are proud to be supported to be as independent as possible and having our rooms and livingspaces personalised to us and who we are.We all enjoy different activities. We love parties and karaoke singalongs. We enjoy the theatre,cinema and going to concerts. We also enjoy lazy movie days at home. We enjoy baking and cookingand taking part in everyday household tasks. Some of us enjoy pamper sessions and having our nailsdone. Some of us enjoy gardening and we all enjoy getting out and about in our beautiful seasidetown.We aspire to be the best we can be, living life to the fullest and positive risk taking.We enjoy taking part in local activities and festivals, such as tree lighting ceremonies, church servicesetc.We are full of fun, we can be mischievous and love a joke or two. We are friendly and welcoming toeveryone who meets us.We would enjoy spending our time with people who enjoy life and can have a laugh and a bit of fun.We would not like anyone who was loud and shouted or were aggressive as this would upset some ofus There are 7 staff on shift at one time, generally 3 in Lyndhurst and 4 in Albany.We work a combination of shifts including: 8-3, 3-10, 8-10, waking night and sleep-in
