BSL Level 3 TA:
Prospero Teaching are currently looking for a Level 3 qualified BSL teaching assistant to join a lovely primary school in Blackpool. This is a full time position to start after Easter.
The Role:
* Supporting pupils 1-1 and in small groups
* Preparing learning resources and activities
* Positively and effectively managing behaviour
* Building a supportive and nurturing learning environments
* Liaising with other staff to monitor progress of the pupils
* Position Details:
* Location: Blackpool
* Position: BSL TA
* Hours: 8:15am-3:15pm, Mon-Fri
* Type of Work: Temporary
* Full time/Part time: Full time only
* Minimum Rate of Pay: £120 per day, depending on experience
* Start date: ASAP
* End date: Ongoing
* Experience, Training & Qualifications:
* Up to date Safeguarding training within the last year (desired but training can be provided)
* Previous experience supporting children with complex needs in a school setting
* Level 3 BSL training is essential
* Team Teach training is highly desirable
* TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
* Hold Right to Work in the UK
* Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
* Provide two professional child related references that cover the last two years
