About the Role As a Cover Supervisor, you will step into the classroom in the absence of the regular teacher to ensure students remain engaged and on task. You will deliver pre-set work, manage behaviour, and support a positive learning environment. This is not a teaching role, making it a fantastic stepping stone into education. Key Responsibilities Supervising whole classes during teacher absences Delivering pre-planned lessons and ensuring students stay on task Managing classroom behaviour effectively Supporting students with their learning where appropriate Reporting back on lesson outcomes and any issues What We’re Looking For Current students or recent graduates (any subject welcome) Strong communication and interpersonal skills Confidence leading a classroom and engaging young people An interest in pursuing a career in teaching or education A proactive and adaptable attitude Previous experience working with young people is beneficial but not essential.
