Currently, Computing forms part of the curriculum for our various preparatory programmes (PRE-KS4 and PRE-KS5 one-year programmes). In the longer term, Computing will be incorporated into more traditional study paths, such as GCSE and A-level, potentially the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme, and the University Foundation Programme. Therefore, the ability to teach Computing at both GCSE and A-level is essential. We are looking for a teacher who can harness the international contexts of our classrooms and offer an inclusive environment for students to engage in dialogue and develop their academic skills. Applicants should also evidence a commitment to their professional development. There are opportunities at Worthgate for successful applicants to undertake the NPQ qualifications (Leading Teacher Development, Senior Leadership, NPQ SENCO) with us in partnership with UCL and multiple teachers enrol on these NPQ programmes each year.
