Phillips Grant Associates are supporting a small and progressive accountancy practice to recruit for a Bookkeeper due to continued growth and recently acquiring new clients. This is a great chance to join a thriving business with a supportive team. You will need to have experience of working as a Bookkeeper within an accountancy practice previously. As a Bookkeeper you will have sole responsibility for looking after one of our newest clients and the day to day bookkeeping requirements for that company. From time to time, you may be required to assist with other clients bookkeeping, but this will be infrequent. Key Responsibilities: Accounts Payable & Receivable Process supplier invoices, manage weekly payment runs, and handle queries efficiently. Raise customer invoices, allocate payments, and issue statements. Reconciliations & Reporting Carry out regular supplier, customer and bank reconciliations. Maintain accurate records in accounting system Support with month-end processes and ad-hoc finance projects. Credit Control & Ledger Management Monitor outstanding balances and follow up with customers. Ensure records are accurate, compliant, and up to date. What Were Looking For: Experience: 3 years previous bookkeeping experience within a practice environment. Education: AAT or equivalent qualification would be desired but is not essential.
