You will provide high-standard care to residents, ensuring their well-being and support. Experience is preferred but not essential; demonstrating unconditional positive regard in a positive behavioral support setting is the primary requirement.
You should have the maturity to work within a positive behavior support framework, accept responsibility, handle stress, and grow in confidence as a skilled practitioner. Ability to follow guidelines and work positively within a team ethos is essential.
Previous experience and relevant qualifications are preferred but not mandatory, as full training, including online e-learning, is provided through our training academy.
Flexibility is important. You should be able to cover a variety of shifts, including days, nights, sleep-ins, and waking watches. Our services operate 24/7, so we seek adaptable staff. We will consider your availability when assigning shifts.
You will have the opportunity to take on a support role, planning with individuals and their support networks to help them achieve their goals. Our person-centered planning involves collaboration with individuals and families to promote a unified approach. Support workers play a key role in working towards meaningful, inspirational goals, offering valuable experience and skills for a career in adult social care.
