What You Will Do
: Develop and implement comprehensive commercial and bidding strategies that align with the companys values and objectives.
: Lead and manage the entire bid lifecycle from RFQ through to response document stage, ensuring high:quality proposals that meet client needs and stand out in the marketplace.ation
: Create and manage costing and pricing models, budgets, EACs, and cashflow profiles for bids.
: Negotiate contract terms and conditions to secure profitable agreements while minimising risks and ensuring legal compliance with regulations.
: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders to enhance opportunities and drive growth.
: Support the wider team by monitoring performance during project delivery to ensure objectives are met with companies current product portfolio.
What You Will Bring
: Proven experience in commercial management, bid management, or related roles within the Engineering, Manufacturing within Defence or other main stream sectors.
: Strong understanding of commercial principles, contract management, and bid processes.
: Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels.
: Excellent project management skills, with the ability to prioritise, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and bid management software, with a strategic mindset for developing successful commercial strategies.
: Experience with Single Source Resource would be advantageous but experience within competitive bidding process essential.

This role is based in Stockport, offering a convenient location for professionals. The role does offer a hybrid working model with 3 days office 2 days WFH.
