About the role
This position joins our finance partnering team, working with our UK professional filters business. The business unit supply water filters to places like coffee shops and restaurants, helping them to deliver great quality to end consumers and reduce costs due to maintenance. This is a fast-paced and growing part of our business, with great development potential, and our sales and customer support teams are busy with both existing and new customers.
You will play a vital role in supporting that business growth, becoming a trusted partner to the sales team and management. You will help them develop and understand the commercial options, risks and opportunities as the business continues to grow, and make recommendations for ways to move forward. Developing and delivering reports and ensuring that the value of commercial activity is accurately reflected on the P&L, your work will have a major part to play in the continued success of our professional filters business.
As part of the wider commercial finance team, you will work with and be supported by colleagues who work with our other business units, sharing insights and ways of working to help the whole business keep developing and growing.
This post is hybrid, with a requirement to attend the Bicester office 3 days per week.

To be successful in this role
You’ll be a strong analyst, with great skills with Excel and BI tools (ideally Power BI), and real experience in an analytical role. Your key skill will be being able to evaluate and understand data and then translate financial insight into terms that non-finance professionals can work with. The ability to develop recommendations driven from that data and insights and communicate that effectively will be vital. You will be adept at speaking the both language of finance and the language of sales, as partnering with the sales and marketing teams is right at the heart of this role.
Tenacity, focus and attention to detail are vital for any analytical role, this is no exception, but for us it is also about that ability to collaborate and work well with others to get results that matters. Managing priorities, being adaptable and concentrating your effort where it is most effective are going to make the difference in this role, and to us as we continue to grow and develop.
What’s in it for you?
* Annual salary of £37,000 - £42,000
