Planning Analyst Hybrid Working from Manchester Competitive Salary plus benefits The Role The Migration Control Centre. exists to support DCC customers and end-consumers through this extended period of growth and change. The team will be part of the New Service Team within Core Operations. This MCC Planning Analyst role is a key role in the success of the migration of smart devices onto the DCC systems. The key areas that the role will be responsible for delivering and owning are below: Data Manipulation Forecast Validation Analysis Forecasting Process Service Level Accuracy Management The role will also have exposure to additional activities which are important to the running of the Migration Control Centre team. Self Service Adoption Audit Continuous Improvement What will you be doing? To complete forecasting, scheduling, and reporting tasks in line with schedule of activity as defined by our obligations or internal stakeholders. To take ownership and responsibility for customer interaction for the pre-migration activities. Provide insight and value from the data that comes through the function in order to enable our internal and external key stakeholders to be informed with accurate. Will be part of a team supporting the delivery of new services into a live Service Operational function - testing process, design, service, and system changes against expected functionality. Will champion operational and customer requirements creating an environment of challenge, support, knowledge transfer and continuous improvement. Will build strong and productive working relations across DCC with but not limited to Service Transition, Service Operations, Technical Operations and Service Management to ensure process alignment is in place. Will work closely with the Hypercare Team, DCC Service Centre and External Support Providers/Third Parties to ensure readiness for new services/enhancements through assisting with UIT, Knowledge Capture and Training, hi-lighting any gaps, risks or issues and support in successful resolution. What are we looking for? The Ideal candidate should come from an Energy or Telecommunications sector background. They will have the ability to analyse complex data to inform decision making. Strong internal and external stakeholder engagement skills up to Exco level. Must have previous planning and forecasting experience. Would also be ideal to hold some project management skills.
