Your New Role
This interim role offers longevity at 12 months initially and a chance for extension beyond this point. Based out of London, you would be Procurement Lead for their Wells & Subsurface category spend areas, which supports the delivery of new rigs, work-over rigs, wells services, drilling and tangibles, as well as subsurface and seismic areas. Aligning business priorities and compliance to procurement procedures and contract governance. You will act as a key procurement business partner for delivery of new rigs in this specified region in the Middle East. The role will engage with Legal, Finance, HSE, and the P&O functions to ensure seamless procurement delivery and contract management, compliant with internal policies, industry standards, and regulatory obligations. You will develop and implement robust category strategies for the Operations & Productions Procurement Category and will act as an interface to internal and external stakeholders.
What you'll need to succeed
To succeed in this role, you will be commercially astute, always ensuring processes are aligned with current regulations and procedures, including; anti-bribery, anti-corruption, and anti-money laundering. If you have worked on large-scale projects in the Middle East, this would be preferred. However, you must be based in the UK, with full rights to work in the UK currently.
