Are you passionate about helping others live independently? We are currently recruiting Domiciliary Care Assistants in Clacton-on-Sea to provide essential support to individuals who are living in a supported living service, with morning and evening visits ranging from 1-2 hours per shift.
There is a female and male resident you will be looking after. The male speaks Hindi, Pashto and Urdu so it would be great if you can speak any of these languages, if not you will use flash cards and google translate to communicate with him. The female speaks Portuguese and is also blind, again you would use google translate to communicate with her.
About the Role:
As a Domiciliary Care Assistant, youll be offering crucial support to clients during the most important parts of their day, providing care that allows them to live comfortably and independently in their own homes. Your visits will make a real difference in their daily routines and overall well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Personal care assistance : Helping clients with washing, dressing, and grooming.
2. Feeding and mealtime support : Assisting with meal preparation and feeding if required.
3. Daily living assistance : Supporting clients with light household tasks, medication reminders, and emotional support.
