Maintenance Engineer
Orion is partnered with a fast-paced metal works manufacturing company who are recruiting for a confident electrically biasMaintenance Engineerto work on the Weekend night shifts.
Salary:£42,090
ShiftsContinental Friday, Saturday, Sunday Night shift 34 hours total
Maintenance Engineer Duties:
1. To provide in-house services to production departments, offices, and buildings -Carry out some installation work.
2. Routine maintenance repairs to metal works and manufacturing machinery
3. Diagnose malfunction apparatus such as transformers, motors and lighting fixtures and replace damaged or broken wires and cables.
4. Reactive machinery maintenance
5. Tests malfunctioning machinery and discuss problems with other maintenance workers, such as Maintenance Manager and toolmaker, to diagnose malfunction.
6. Diagnose and replace faulty electrical or electronic components such as relays, switches, and motors.
7. Diagnose and replace faulty mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components of machinery and equipment.
8. Requisition tools, equipment, new and replacement parts in Entering electrical panels to reset trip etc.
9. Suggest changes in working conditions and use of equipment to increase efficiency of work team.
